Meet the Boss
Dedicated to Service and Success
Boss lady, Brittany Corrales, loves being a host, coordinator, cook, and all-around creator. She is an artist in all that she does. She lives in sunny San Diego and adores all things ethnic, bright, and enthusiastic. She has worked with florals and hosted dinner parties since she was in her teens, was an Art Curator for a public Gallery at age 19, has coordinated weddings and helped run community events since her early 20’s, managed wedding venues in Temecula and Encinitas, and has taught over 1500 students the importance of growing their own food and eating seasonally. She has lived in both northern and southern California, Hawaii, and a short time in Greece. Her passion for people and travel has led her to explore Mexico, the Mediterranean, and Eastern and Western Europe.
Brittany's passion for events is unmatched. She believes in the person before the party. This gives her an edge as she believes that the guests are the most integral part of the planning. Who and Why, always come first. Details are only special if the attendee notices.
Brittany has also run a secret roving dinner club, CLANDESTINO92024 which she started in 2014. She does the marketing, menu creation, cooking, hosting, and dinner service. This is a personal project and experiment for her own artistic portfolio. She has held approximately 35 private dinner events under this alias.
Brittany cares about non-profits and the work they do. Specifically, the food justice movement. The initial food justice movement began to help traditionally marginalized groups of people access more affordable, more nutritious, whole-foods. She has dedicated the past few years to teaching seven levels of curriculum of sustainable and affordable nutritional cooking to students grades K-6th with The Sage Garden Project non-profit. She also trained with famous Chef and philanthropist Alice Waters' team at the Edible Schoolyard Berkeley, in Northern California to better understand their Food Justice mission. This training re-lit her fire and passion to aid children with learning about growing food and their success with obtaining access to nutritious food.
Brittany was an Ethnic Studies Major at University of California at Davis. Her life's passion is people. She absolutely loves getting to know people, and is optimistic at the opportunity to get to help people intermingle. This is why she whole-heartedly enjoys gathering people for grandiose events. She loves the mixing of family, friends, and strangers. She believes that with strategic planning, progressive cocktails, mood lighting, and carefully curated furniture, all of your guests will leave your event with magic in their hearts.
Brittany is straight forward with pricing and fair with her labor charge. She is not in this business to take advantage of clients, nor be taken advantage of. She understands that not everyone can afford all services and is willing to work around budget constraints as best she can. Brittany would be honored to help plan, design and floralize your next event! Reach out for a custom quote today!
